This aircraft represents one of several specially modified UH-1 aircraft
that were used during the Vietnam Conflict to locate, identify, and provide
targetting information to allied commanders. The aircraft were operated by
units of the 1st Cavalry Division (371st RR Co), the 4th Division (374th RR Co),
and I believe later on in the war by the 265th RR Platoon (101 Abn Div). My memory
may not be quite fair to me on the 265th. I personally witnessed the results
of these missions while serving as a 98C analyst with the 509th RR Gp,1967-68.
These crews were responsible for many intelligence "coups", and their actions
undoubtedly saved many lives.

The DF operator console bank is modeled on a photo at Dennis Buley's web site (see below).
The model's landing light works with the Landing Light switch on the collective.
The panel HSI is courtesy Dragon Flight Design. The ADI and Rad Alt were included in Jordan Moore's inital UH-1H release.

If you are a former Left Bank crewmember, my hat is off to you. To you, and others who
want some additional information about "Left Bank" and other special electronic mission
aircraft that preceded and followed "Left Bank", I urge you to check out Dennis Buley's
Special Electronic Mission Aircraft (SEMA) web site at :
